Christmas Day 2009 - Isabella's 1st Christmas!!

From First Steps to official walker
Ok, so Isabella's official first "walking day" was December 23rd, so she's officially gone from the steps stage to full on walking around the house..so cute!! She's quite a bit more curious so mommy and daddy have had to be extra careful with her newfound freedom. It's a blast though, we're loving it!!

Isabella's First Steps!!!
Ok, so what kind of horrible luck do I have? I rarely get out of the house for any non-mom activities, besides the gym of course..but this past Saturday the 5th was my sister's 25th bday party so of course I had to mingle for a while, however brief--was out all of 2 hrs. No sooner do I leave the house than Jimbo calls me and says that Isabella took her first step! Arrrggg..but, I'm over it somewhat because this morning she did it again with another step that mom did not miss this time. However, I took Sincere for a long overdue walk this evening (maybe a mile around the neighborhood) and while I was out, of course she took three steps with dad! It is so funny that overnight she's now taken several "one steps" throughout the night, too awesome!

So about this year...
I can't even believe how fast 2009 has flown by. I see now how true it is that the time flies by even faster when you have little ones--people told me that all the time while I was pregant and I was like "yeah, ok". Isabella already feels like a toddler to me and I'm left wondering where my little baby went. She is such a little ham and we have so much fun with her everyday though..each stage is funner than the previous so it's been a kick. She is so curious and so mobile, getting into everything now. She's a riot and my favorite is how much she LOVES music. She stands and dances while we're watching movies or TV and it cracks me up how much I feel she's going to be just like me, whether I like it or not! It makes sense since we share the same birthday I suppose, we're Capricorn through and through ; )

We enjoyed a beautiful pre-Thanksgiving meal at grandma's house. The weather was wonderful and Belle loves playing in the grass.
